The Society received an enquiry about a number of gas poles that were marked "Ingram & Phillips Fordingbridge 1866". These would have been made at Stuckton in the iron foundry subsequently taken over by Armfields. An excellent example of their work is found in Church Street Fordingbridge. The poles in question were not able to be used as originally intended and so they were sold to an individual from Kongsberg in Norway.
